Korean design has increasingly gained global recognition for its ability to connect cultural authenticity with technological innovation and human-centered experiences. Designed in Seoul explores this evolution by presenting design not simply as an industry or aesthetic practice, but as a reflection of culture, lifestyle, and everyday experience.
Participating design agencies—BEBOP, ohSeven, BKID, UNICHEST, intenxiv, and HEAZ—represent a broad spectrum of Korean design practice, across product design, branding, consumer technology, and experiential storytelling.

The program begins with a panel discussion bringing together leading voices from academia, museums, and global industry. Speakers from Stanford University, the Asian Art Museum, and Google will discuss the changing role of Korean design within the international creative landscape, addressing topics including cultural identity, technological transformation, and cross-cultural collaboration.
Following the panel, participating studios will introduce their design philosophy and key works through short presentations before transitioning into an open exhibition and networking session, designed to foster interaction among designers, researchers, industry leaders, and visitors.
Through this special SFDW program, KIDP continues its efforts to expand the global presence of Korean design and strengthen international partnerships that create innovative opportunities and foster meaningful connections between Korean designers and global creative communities.
