Kunsik Choi & Seoyoung Shin are Korean designers, working within the fields of furniture, sculptural objects (Choi) and textile craft and arts (Shin). Both have studied in Italy and Sweden, and currently base their practices in Stockholm.
Their presentations include abstract furniture, room partition, glass vase, and textile artwork — all of which awaken us to our assumed sense of what is (in)complete, what distinguishes closed from what is open, our prejudices of what “together” ought to be, and inspired reflections on the artist’s experiences of ephemeral moments.

Hwasung Yoo has exhibited in Milan’s Spazio Rossana Orlandi, Le Lieu du Design in Paris, and the Korea Foundation in Seoul. He was among the Next Generation Design Leaders by KIDP in 2011, and Ung8 at the Ung Svensk Form in 2011. He founded the Stockholm-based BYMARS in 2010 and co-founded Seoul-based lighting brand AGO (@ago_lighting) in 2018, serving as its creative director.
Yoo presents AGO lighting and lamp designs inspired by homage to Jeju island in Korea, playful customizability, and the fluffy visuo-tactile sensation of a widely enjoyed rice cake.

Jongha Choi

Jongha Choi studied sculpture at Seoul National University and earned his master’s degree at the Design Academy Eindhoven. His work focuses on sculptures and installations, often in the form of furniture.
With a deep interest in the invisible mechanisms embedded in everyday objects, Choi’s de-dimension series reflects a notion of the image as agent (a sign to the referent) to, as well as the principal to an experience, where the image itself may offer a sufficiently rich experience.
