[Calling for participants (students & tutors)]
The Korea Institute of Design Promotion
(KIDP) is organizing its 4th annual International Integrated Design
Camp (IIDC), to be held for two weeks from June 26 to July 10.
This year, the IIDC will be held under
the theme of “Zero Waste: Towards Sustainable and Enjoyable Living”. Projects
covered during the camp will observe the changes currently being made in
society from a designer’s point of view, such as the cradle-to-cradle and
reduce-reuse-recycle movements. Participating students, in teams made up of people
from diverse backgrounds, and under the guidance of professional tutors from
global companies and organizations, will deliver products, systems and services
that may efficiently promote and contribute to a sustainable and enjoyable life.
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation,
IIDC 2021 will be mainly held online. However, KIDP will open up its facilities
to a limited number of teams who wish to proceed with their project(s) offline
whilst abiding by the South Korean government’s COVID-19 guidelines.
For those interested in participating
either as a student or as a tutor, please contact Ms. Nara SUH at edu@kidp.or.kr.
